According to Beijing shougang construction group co., LTD., the main body of the shougang ski jump is steel structure, with a total length of about 160 meters, a maximum width of 34.141 meters and a main structure height of 49.11 meters.The first section of the lifting truss beam has a large volume, 14 meters long, 9.2 meters wide, 5 meters high and 81.4 tons in weight.The successful hoisting of the truss beam lays a foundation for ensuring the completion of the main structure construction, equipment installation and debugging on schedule and meeting the test conditions.
A person in charge of Beijing's major project office said that shougang's ski jumping platform fully considered the industrial heritage value of the old factory buildings, and renovated and reused the original factory buildings of shougang, elaboratively designed and built as venues for the Beijing winter Olympics, meeting the requirements of the winter Olympics, broadcasting, audience service and other functions.It has realized the effective transformation and perfect combination of industrial heritage and winter Olympic venues.
