Construction machinery association: China's construction machinery market is facing rapid growth

China's construction machinery market has been growing rapidly in the past two years and is expected to increase by about 10 percent in 2019 from 2018, qi jun, President of the China construction machinery industry association, said at a press conference on Monday.

Qi jun said China's total sales of major construction machinery products grew 25.5 percent in 2018.In the first quarter of 2019, the sales of construction machinery market still performed well, with the total sales of main products growing by 15.2%.According to statistics, the sales of various types of excavators by the 25 excavator manufacturers included in the statistics in April 2019 increased by 7% year-on-year;The sales of all kinds of loaders by 22 loaders manufacturers included in the statistics increased by 6.26% year-on-year.It is expected that the total sales of major construction machinery products in 2019 will increase by about 10 percent on the basis of 2018.

In qi jun's view, the achievements of China's construction machinery industry cannot be separated from the good overall environment of China's economy.The Chinese government's reduction of value-added tax rates in the manufacturing, construction, transportation and other industries will bring policy dividends and radiation impact on the manufacturing, construction and related industries, and will provide strong support for the steady development of the construction machinery industry in 2019 and even in the next few years.

Construction machinery industry and infrastructure construction are closely related.Qi jun thinks, xiong 'an new area is about to enter large - scale substantial start - up construction phase;China's fixed asset investment in roads, waterways and railways also increased significantly in 2019.China will further advance infrastructure projects involving the beijing-tianjin-hebei region, the Yangtze river economic belt, the guangdong-hong kong-macao greater bay area and the central and western regions.

Qi jun said the above infrastructure construction and livelihood guarantee projects will generate a huge amount of demand for more environmentally friendly and efficient construction machinery and equipment.It is an opportunity for engineering machinery manufacturers all over the world and a guarantee for the continuous growth of China's construction machinery market in the future.
