The new airport project in Algiers was put into operation

Recently, the EPC turnkey project -- Algiers new airport project, jointly undertaken by cscec Algeria and cscec no. 8 bureau and participated by cscec steel structure, was officially put into operation.

The project covers an area of 650000 square meters, construction area of 200000 square meters, containing the new terminal, the viaduct and parking lot, the apron, and new energy center four parts, as the highest level of 4 f airport, the traffic in 10 million, as a hub of north Africa, will strongly promote the development of local economy, culture and tourism.

The project integrated multiple resources to establish a global procurement platform, formed an effective procurement chain, and shortened the equipment material selection and procurement cycle;During the structural construction, the front and rear resources are fully mobilized, and the extensive management of structural construction in Afghanistan is creatively transformed into an assembly-type fine and multi-level management, so as to realize the construction task of segmental closure of the terminal with "large flow organization".The steel roof structure of the new terminal has a maximum span of 180 meters and a height of 45 meters.With the new steel structure mode, through design optimization and whole-process monitoring of factory processing, transportation and customs clearance, the lifting construction of 11,000 tons of roof steel structure was finally completed within 3 months and 20 days on site.
