Also known as the "ice ribbon", the design concept of the national speedskating center is derived from the idea of combining ice and speed. The "ice ribbon" is designed as the world's largest single layer of bidirectional orthogonal saddle-shaped cable net roof. The entire roof is composed of 3360 pieces of glass to form a free-flowing oval surface. Its shape is beautiful and novel.
